Yo how do you make the actual videos from youtube show up on a post?

See the little filmstrip looking button? select and copy the URL (in the address window of your browser, starts with "www.") hit the button and paste it there. This will wrap video codes around the URL. When you post it, the video will show up.(called embedding)

Go to YouTube and copy all of the address to the right of the = sign. Example: youtube.com/watch?v=wDfYHrAYU7c Copy wDfYHrAYU7c to your clipboard(Ctrl +"c"). Now go to the thread you want it in. Click on the "Go Advanced" button which is right next to the "Post Quick Reply" button. Now click on the YouTube button



It will load a field in the reply and the cursor will be right where you want it. Now paste(Ctrl + "v") that YouTube address into the field. So it will now look like this.
I did place a spaces in the youtube field so it would not load my actual video.

I prefer this method over using the YouTube button.

Yeah, I don't use the youtube button anymore either. The other method not only looks way better but you can simply copy the entire URL and use that. You don't have to select and copy just the youtube video I.D.

I prefer the the second method on Stefan's post cuz its viewable on my iPod, where 90% of my forum browsing takes place.

And guess what? Not only is the "insert image" button not working ( I have to type image codes manually) but now the "insert video" button does the same thing. I've given up on sending a PM to boots. He never finds anything wrong. *sigh*
