Dupont, WA. I'll be there tomorrow afternoon. I'll be bouncing back and forth from time to time between Dupont and Vancouver/Portland Oregon until probably July or August. There will be plenty of herping opportunities for pugets, northwesterns and concinnus. I won't have nearly the time constraints I used to have. If it turns out to be a nice day for herping, I can just go. Don't have to worry about work schedules or money. I'm not going back at my union job until at least summer of 2013 and I can keep my seniority and work in SoCal or Vancouver WA.

Free at last; free at last; thank God Almighty I am free at last. Free of debt, and union rules allow me to be gone as long as I want and still keep my seniority.

I'm just no longer a home owner. I can live with that. Damn place lost $50,000 in value since 2007 anyway.

I got to hold a sand boa today. It was at pet smart, and other than the temp being a little on the warm side it looked in good condition. The lady kept telling me that it was nippy and agitated, but I think that's just because she is high strung. As soon as I found the little one, it let me pick it up and hold it and it settled right in my hand. It seemed sweet, but I'll stick to my garters!

Speaking of habaneros...I told my Mexican ex-hubby about the video with the American kid eating the habanero pepper that I posted for Chris...I told him there were a whole bunch of videos on youtube of idiots popping habaneros in their mouths and then writhing around on the ground choking. He was like.."What?? I'm Mexican and I like habaneros but I would never just stick one in my mouth and eat it...that's nuts! You have to eat it in sauce or something". Crazy Americans...
