Quick question...if anyone knows anything about computers. My computer keeps doing this stupid thing where sometimes after I have been on skype, I can't type on my computer...if I press the keys, nothing types out. The only thing I can do is reboot to get the keyboard working again. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Not something I've come across and I use Skype all day almost every day. Is this after making a Skype call, or using Skype chat? Assume the mouse works fine when the keyboard isn't? Are you using the latest Skype update (version 5.5.0.something)?

Are you on a laptop or a desktop? If you are on a desktop you can just unplug the keyboard cable from the tower for 10sec and then plug it back in. You could uninstall and reinstall skype. You could try reinstalling the keyboard drivers. Just a few options off the top of my head.

Unless you have a fancy keyboard, chances are it's just using plug & play drivers for a generic USB keyboard. Originally Posted by EasternGirl
