    Harmonia axyridis (asian ladybug)

I've been seeing little round, brown beetle looking bugs, with black spots. They look like ladybugs only about half the size. The only think I could find was the asian ladybug. Does anyone about these and if I should worry about the kids? They aren't in either of the tanks, I've just seen them on the wall. I've only seen 2, but I'm sure where there is 2 there are many more hiding. Info or idea would be great! If I see another one I'll try and get a picture of it.

They are not just snakes. They're garter snakes.

Would they bite the snakes if they somehow found a way in?

If they bite people they would probably bite snakes.

Okay...I'm convinced I just saw a brown recluse spider in my son's bedroom...now I get convinced that I see brown recluse spiders a lot...so this could be a false alarm...but does anyone know how big they usually are? And exactly what they look like? I know they supposedly have the violin shape on their back...but this one was dead and curled up so I couldn't really tell...

Thanks...I don't know..it's hard to tell because the darn thing was dead and kind of curled up...but it sort of looked like that. I doubt it was a brown recluse though because I found it on the side of the dresser...it was behind some stuff, but I still think it wasn't reclusive enough of an area. Maybe it was a cellar spider...I'll look those up.
