Iīll make some new photos when I can see a significant difference.
Could not get the trailer yet and donīt where to put all the clay.
As you may know,James, the soil is redoubling itīs volume while scooped on a heap.

I think Sabine might take the clay from you! She said she had no problem getting rid of hers.

Please tell me, that you can see a difference to the last photo
The rain didnīt come to Meckenheim, so I could dig a little more.
Two feet under the survace Iīve discovered a stratum of solid kaolin that was not able to dig with the spade.

Udo, the difference is AMAZING! You've done wonders! I really like the corner situation - great place. You've been working very hard!

Oh. Because you know, it seems to me that, aside
from being a little mentally ill, she's pretty normal.

    Re: outdoor

Definately a difference, Udo. I can relate to all the digging in clay. I had to dig out an 8 foot by 15 foot area about 3 feet deep to build our Koi pond. Keep the final produce in mine and you know it's worth all the hard work.

    Re: outdoor

today I was busy at the pen
first I digged the den pit at least with a ladle to get a little deeper,

than I filled it with small gravel and a bucket full of stones for drainage.
Next step was to build the bottom of the den with big old flowerpots (2),

for insulation I filled two more flowerpots with Polystyrol foam

and fixed the pots with more gravel in the pit
I masked the surface with plastik covered steel mesh,
than masked the steel mesh with 2" of gravel,
shoveled some more clay from the ditch to the wall,

filled it with stone and gravel again and shoveled some soil from the heap back to the enclosure area.
So I think I moved my body weight about 40 times today.
    Allready waiting for the sommer
