Hi there, been lurking here a while and finally decided to sign up a couple of weeks ago. Really impressed with the info & pictures and all around great vibe. Thanks for all the information I've already been able to gather from here, so I figured time to post

New to actually properly keeping Thamnophis. Like many I'm sure I tried as a youngster to keep them in old iced-cream buckets outside that I now know Dad used to open at night to release from their wee prisons to prevent impemding accidental doom.

Many years later and having kept many different species of reptiles over the last 20 years I've finally come full circle back to the "Garters" and I am stoked about it.

Your garters are very pretty!!! I used to have an albino garter but he died Yours looks very healthy. I got mine sick and full of mites I will get another one someday
