Wayne I did read the care sheets.. I knew not to get the goldfish, but i asked for guppies and that's what she told me I was getting. I checked again tonight.. I'm going to try and find Simon some worms. I'll also be more carefull in the future about what fish we're getting.

The kids realy enjoyed watching the fish get caught. "oooh wow" "cool"

Well the pictures are slightly blurry and it would be best to have a clear photo of the bottom of the snakes back end as well as the side, rather than the top..... but from that angle and those pictures that looks like a female's tail. It tapers kinda quickly... normally a male that large would have a pretttyyyy bulky tail!

in the other thread she did post a pic of her substrate, it's T-rex cypress mulch.

    I know Thanks.

I'm trying to do things right, I believe if it's worth doing it should be done right the first time. But I do think I'll make my share of mistakes

    Re: My first snake.

we all made mistakes with our first snakes. It happens... but as long as we learn from them and correct them as we go... things only get better.

Heck, when I first start keeping garter snakes as pets as a kid, I was feeding them nothing but goldfish and I had them on sand
