Sterilite Bin Viv Design.
Decked out a 45 gallon Sterilite bin; from now on my garters are living in paradise.

Can you explain how you did it, Kyle? How do you access for daily maintenance? Where's the ventilation? Stuff like that. Let's hear a break down, Kyle.

Hacked the indented part of the sterilite bin off, replaced it with window screening (plastic,) cut a hole in one of the sides of the bin (for the top) and glued metal screening onto it, then put a rim of Popsicle sticks on the inside to keep the substrate from falling out when you take the lid off (which is now the front of the viv.) For ventilation... The giant gaping hole in the front that's covered in screen, and of course the wire on the top.
And backtracking a bit, for daily maintenance, you just take the lid off (yet again, the lid is the front of the viv.)

**I'll do a more thorough breakdown when I can afford another bin to make another enclosure, so I can take pics along the way.

Well, if you wanted to really get into it, you can sand down the inner rim of the cut out piece from the lid and make it look nice and smooth...
And I don't think I have any glass tanks left in my house, save for the two in the basement with the mice and rhino roaches. I find that glass tanks let odors accumulate...

Looks good, Kyle.
I have 70, 50 and 15 litre containers I sometimes use to house snakes in (currently the male vagrans). Nothing fancy, they're just standard Smart Store containers, right way up, with 100-150mm ventilation holes cut into them (the holes are covered with mosquito mesh).
