Soooo Don, the roaches reproduce? OMG!!! I have allergies, but I have 2 cats in the house, I am supposedly allergic to them. Thank heavens for Advair & Provental!

    Kyle
I hope you don't mind if I post a non-roach on this thread
I don't want to start a whole new thread and this seemed to be the most appropriate place for another invertebrate

Ah, phasmids. I'd like to get some one of these days.
Right now I've just got the roaches, 2 cricket species, mealworms, and red flour beetles. :P

Re: Zephyr's Amazingly Awesome Roach Thread

    Thank you Rhea...

Chomper is amazing, He can smell them!

Dorothy had Chomp out free roaming in the reptile room, and I was changing the "roach pen" (cleaning out the droppings and replacing the leaves) and son of a gun if that big lizard didn't run right over and started head bunting the box they were in!

So I gave in and let him have (I think) 8 of the medium size ones.

They are amazing bugs, Resilient and nearly indestructable...

    Orangehead colony.
These guys have a horrid defense smell, and they don't push their frass to the side like a lot of other roach species do, but they are by far the "cleanest" in terms of leftovers and etc.
They reproduce like mad too. >>
