    He doesn't seem to want to touch the fish unless they are live. We tried putting pieces of salmon in his bowl at the same time as the live fish with and without water and he wouldn't eat it. He did get on it and smell it all over though. We have tried holding it in front of him with a fork. Maybe we should get some tongs. Picky little guy

    Anyone know if the frozen little gray fish that petco sells are good for ribbons? Not sure what kind of fish it is. There's quite a few in the pack.

    red tail feeder fish are bad? i didnt know this and its the main diet of my garter

    I've never seen these; will have to check them out.

    Keep adding chopped pieces of fish and pinkies to their live guppies or minnows. Sometimes it takes a while... and then one day, bam, they land on one and swallow it. :-)

    yes, definitely keep mixing things in
    they get used to the smell of the new food item, even if they don't take it right away
