    There does seem to be a common misconception that we can regulate growth by not feeding them as much.

    I'd wager to say most of the bites/attacks reported were from UNDERFED individuals.

    Even the super mellow Ball Python can get nasty when they are not fed enough...

    I just love the BIG snakes, I'll never buy one, but I'd never turn away one in need either.

    Wouldn't mind a yellow anaconda at all, Build it a pond and feed it quail

    people can hinder growth and development by not feeding them..... not good for the snakes tho.

    Yeah. If you fed newborn babies say, once a month. They would live but grow very, very slowly... So it's true in a way. But NOT good for the snakies of course.

    I have debated about yellows, and even greens, since I have the house to myself.

    Man, that could make one super cool living room super huge walk-in display cage.

    But it all comes down to the fact that I cant move a large snake by myself. maybe a yellow, but probably not a green, full grown that is- because unlike most people that buy the big species, I do imagine what I'll do when they get that big.

    they she's a rescue.. i have 5 people over just in case i need them.. my husband, my friend chris and my friend tommy, than her owner and me.. just to help with transport...
