HURRAY for Olive and Muzzer! Olive, tell your muzzer you're a big girl and she's a worrywart and then give her a big kiss.

It usual does, Zoe. More often than it doesn't. Particularly if you have optimum conditions for your snigglettes to take advantage of.

Glad it went well and you can relax. Isn't Olive SO PRETTY now?

I found her shed yesterday, and haven't seen her yet. I don't know why she is hiding. I'm getting ready to dig around in her bedding, I can't wait to see her!

Hehehehehehe! Came back from getting my antique, slate-bottomed (Dekay and Sid, the metal's kind'a rough and rusted in places. Not that I have time now, but is there anything I can do to pretty it up? What about that jelly stuff?) tank to find a SHED in the Puget's tank!

And the third one has BLUE eyes! So that means the one that shed just before coming here is getting ready to shed again!

I hope to shout! That bad boy's about to eat me outta house and home. Niizh could CERTAINLY take lessons from him.

Ooooooohhhhhhhhh... 'Bear, you sweetie! Glad you liked my 'book'!

I've thought of the camera-borrow idea... But... everyone I know doesn't want to part with them. Though, maybe, I could get Mom (she's not my mom, long story) over here with her phone... I don't know.

And even if I did put up pictures, honest to gods it wouldn't do them justice - I found THAT out! When they shed, they're blue-green-aqua blue and shimmer, shimmer, shimmer.

Thanks for hangin' out with me in this thread!

Ahh... well, phone's usually take pretty bad pics. And yeah, the colors would be washed out, but hey, we'd still get to see their faces!

I've never had snakes until the garter I have now (always wanted them, always loved them, but I still live at home and my mom is afraid of them) and the first time my snake started getting cloudy eyes I freaked! I was very relieved when I finally figured out what was going on...

I knew she was going to shed when her eyes turned, but I kinda freaked out when they cleared up and there was no shed. Then, the next day there it was. I'm glad I know how it works now!

Isn't that SO WEIRD, ladies? How they clear up after getting cloudy?

The cloudy - from what I've learned - is some kind'a moisty stuff that's lubricating so the eye skin come off. But why it goes away and the eyes clear, I'm totally clueless and in the dark.

Winnie, a Common Eastern Garter - from the north, at the park... Her eyes don't get blue but get white. Weird.
