    Rescue

    I'm so proud of my students, they found a baby garter in the school lobby today by the gym and stopped some other kids from hurting it. They brought it to my room because we have a pet kenyan Sand Boa...so now we have a pet garter too.

    Good job jerry...they probably learned that from you. I show my snakes to kids all the time and this is why. Once they see them up close and understand them a little better they seem to be curious and interested.....and certainly less fearful or likely to harm.
