All,

Rosa has been eating much less now, seemingly due to the turn in weather. She has refused her usual staples, nightcrawlers, pinkies, salmon, tilapia, etc. She does however, seem to LOVE the mosquito fish I catch at the local creek and put in her bowl. I will be able to make one more trip to the creek tomorrow as the weather is supposed to be good, but unless I can gather a bunch, my supply won't last long.

I've tried rosies, but she doesn't like them and no feeder guppies available around here. Thought maybe I would try some other varieties that are live breeders so I can *maybe* keep a stock going in the aquarium. Fosters and Smith is advertising "Feeder Platys" (for larger fish of course), but with the thiamine issue, I am not sure if these would be safe.

Does anyone know about Platys? Any other varieties of live breeders that are safe and hardy?
