    my heat pad doesn't work?

    i just got a heating pad that adheres to the bottom of my aquarium. i've had it plugged in for about 8 hours now and nothing. any idea whats going on? is it just not working or am i maybe doing something wrong. and yes there is substrate in my aquarium. any thoughts are appreciated!

    If you place your hand directly on the pad, and feel nothing, Take it back to the store and exchange it.....

    Yep, between the first 2 responses, thats about it. Those pads should get hot enough that its unmistakeable is they are working or not.
