Ok, gonna show my newbie-ness... how do you know that they need to be peeled? What would you look for? Unless the snake started the process and just couldn't finish I'm not sure I would see the signs that it needed assistance.

babies will look dry and wrinkly....adults...don't peel all of it off and you will see parts of dead skin on them.

I guess this is just one of those things you have to see in person to truly understand? My babies look dry and I guess a bit wrinkly for a week or so before they shed. How long would you wait after noticing that you think they look dry? Or like my first thought, is it something totally obvious once you see it?
