    Wandering Garter Sankes

My wandering pair arrived on Friday, courtesy of Don. Thanks man....

One of them, (pictured) ate a whole pinky for me

The other one ate a small minnow, and showed no further interest in food.

    Re: Wandering Garter Sankes

    Wanderings are SOOOOO variable.
I have the pair I caught which are more of beige brown with a electric yellow dorsal stripe and scatterings of yellow between the scales on the sides.
And I also have a male who's bright orange and a female with no pattern who's lavender/slate gray.

Also, Wayne. from experience, wanderings don't eat much a never get "pudgy."
Just so you don't freak out. :P

    Nice Wayne!

Do you have a pic of your "patternless lavender/slate gray" girl Kyle?

    Ah. Nice. Here is mine:

Can't seem to capture her color AT ALL. She is really "blue" in person....

Now all I need is a couple red spotted and of course another Infernalis

That would about cover all the garters I am interested in having..

    Well ok, until next season

Very nice additions, Wayne. I'll have to get some recent pics of my gray pair to share.
