    me either

jitami, yes I have held them. I am very careful, you just can not reach in & grab them because they are very fast @ swinging their head around. I was told by someone that had been bitten before that it is VERY PAINFUL.

Kevin_is_a_herper12, There is more to it than that to keeping venomous reptiles. The best thing is to read as much as you can & then to find someone that has venomous that will allow you to work with him to get the experience first. Make sure it is someone that has not been bitten several times.

Oh my gosh..... *cries* Those are SOOOOO nice!!! I SOO wish I could keep venomous but not willing to take the risk.... Most venomous species have a special quality about them and really appeal to me.

Thanks for the info Bay_Area....its also a good idea to get something less venomous....(like that's possible) and fast to have as a "test" to see if your ready for the big leagues....such as western hognose snakes.....they have venom and are quick, but it won't kill you if you get a hit from one. ;-)
