As some of you may have guessed, I'm pretty skeptical about whether or not head shapes and sizes can be used to determine the sex with any kind of accuracy.
I am skeptical to. I simply don't go by just one characteristic as a general rule. Of all the options. One is usually bound to be dead obvious. At least. In my experience. But head shape in a close up pic is one I will never say "for sure".

In the book of Rossman et al. you can find statistic measurements.
Most differences are so small that you hardly can tell them significant,
or intersection is so much bigger than clear sex related measurements.
Most adult snakes are easily sexed by a look on the vent to tail area.
