    It's used to remove the tire from the rim when putting on and taking off tires [from the rim]!

    Uh Gertie, so very wrong,

    I guess in a pinch one could use the flat end to change a motorcycle tire, but this thing is made from aluminum, and trust me it would break if anyone attempted to unseat the bead of a car or truck tire with it.

    I already chipped one corner of the flat end prying on something far less stressful than that.

    Some kind of tool for removing or adjusting chains, tracks, gear boxes or clutches?
