    I've read this also in an article. There the author keeps a record with lots of numbers each year. He also saw that to high temperatures during gestation indeed cause a lot of deformities. (this was an article about atratus)

    Yeah, I know when I was breeding bearded dragons I sometimes had trouble with temps going too high during the hottest part of the summer and I noticed a lot more deformities (kinked tails missing toes, club feet) in those babies. I knew it wasn't genetic because the same adults threw perfect babies when incubation temps were within acceptable limits.
