James, your allotment is lovely! That looks like a ton of hard work! I take it you have a long term contract with the government so that this will always be yours to enjoy? Or at least for a good long time?

Yes, allotments are on land set aside by the state for this purpose.... it can never be built on or used for any other purpose. As long as I don't break the rules (and I pay my rent), it's mine for life. Originally Posted by jitami

Ok, this is just sooooo funny to me, I had to post it for you guys. Here's the parrot we rescued, Nigel.... enjoying a chicken wing.
It cracks me up!!! What can I say? He enjoyed some venison roast the other night too. Silly bird!!! He loves to try just about everything we eat, but does not like bananas and carrots so far. Loves Gatorade tho!!
