    Realigning the jaws seems easy enough without doing that, they don't seem to even start rubbing their face until they're finished doing that. It really is to get rid of slime and saliva, and whatever has stuck to it.

    Garter Gertie is right, all snakes do this to realign their jaw after eating.

    same with mine they do that i think to remove the liquid from there mouths like we use napkins

    they do a yawning motion to realign the jaws....rubbing is usually to get food and stuff off their face or start the shedding process...
