Baby Update

Well the baby that I kept has made great progress for me. It's been eating vitamin/calcium dusted rosy reds, but tonight I got it to eat unscented pinky pieces by wiggling them in front of its nose with tweezers. I'll get some pictures for you guys tomorrow, it looks like it's gotten a little longer since birth.

Cool! mine are only several days old, so I just started trying to feed them. 5 of the 8 ate on first attempt. Using f/t guppies for now, cause its easy, but once they all eat a few times, I hope to use trout until they are big enough for pinkies.

Sounds good. You have gulf coast babies too right?

I have gulf coasts too... About 1/2 of the litter are ravenous feeders; the other half either hesitate or haven't even eaten.
