Looks like fun Wayne! Anji your little mantids are too cute! Don't blame you for waiting a bit to keep one, though. I had great luck feeding tons of aphids, but you probably don't have aphids on your roses to begin with

About a month ago, I had a bazillion aphids on my Rose of Sharon bush. But some ladybugs promptly moved in and took care of those for me.

whenever I got closer than this, I got a demonstration of a skillful high speed traverse of the net into a great hiding spot - I'd no idea they could go that fast
