um........ i'd get a bigger cage b4....... september???? so about 2 months???

Should be good; You just don't want to stress them out. The garters can only use the space that the can move on; hence they have length and width of the tank and the occasional decoration. However, if you can figure out a way to fully use all the space in the tank, you can easily keep more garters in their. IE, add more levels.

ok!!! and i also take them out alot.... for about 5hrs a week.... and i can figure out how to make more levels great idea!!!!

I recall some one using aquarium sealant to attach levels to tank walls...

hmmmmmm.... interesting.... but i think i may make a few things on stilts to make it easier to clean
