I say yes! Meat is meat. unfortunately, not everyone in the U.S. shares the same outlook. most people in the United States prefer to eat herbivoures and the occasional omnivoure, and avoid carnivoures. But what is the difference between a dog and a cow. They are both living creatures! I would eat both.

Certainly in the Far East, carnivores such as cats and dogs (and snakes) feature regularly on the menu.

I don't want to repeat what has already been said but I appreciate all opinions, but I have to agree with Caleb on this one. I myself have a household of "dysfunctional" pets that have been rescued because no one wants them or they aren't being taken care of. But, the owner of the gerbil chose to drop it off and not find it a home. Therefore, you have relinquished all rights to it.

Dekaybrown, I will stand in line and feed the hungry with you. I have worked in a animal shelter and I would much rather feed children with the meat than euthanize and incinerate thousands of animals a year because people are to ignorant to get ther animals fixed.

See how that works... You can state your opinion without "attacking" someone. We should all respect peoples opinions, it is like religion and politics no one will ever agree and that is what makes this world a wonderful place.

Just to make the neah-sayers happy...I am selling the gerbil, because none of my herps will have anything to do with it. I am charging a rehoming fee of 10 dollars, with the cage and running wheel, and it is going to a good home.
