Loren & I went to So*Cal this weekend to do some herping in the high desert. Although we didn't find any garters, we had a pretty good trip. Here are some highlights from the weekend...

Patchnose snake Loren caught, he was pulling thorns out of his hand for some time after catching this guy...LOL!
Rosy Boa that Loren found...an easier catch for him this time.
A shovelnose snake that we didn't find til midnight crossing the road

While we were down there we met someone that gave us a couple of snakes.
I got a coachwhip
& Loren got a Lyre snake
We had a good time, but I couldn't wait to get home & clean up after sleeping out in the desert for a couple of nights with no shower...LOL!

It was in the rock cracks. I used the snake hook to get it out then I grabbed it. Originally Posted by larean
