    Garters eating less. D:

I bring up this issue again because today was feeding day and none of my juvenile garters felt like eating. Is a week and 1/2 for them to go with out food? I'm kinda concerned for them, as their normal food items don't seem to catch their attention any more. D:

yes, they should be fine. they can go for longer periods without problems. as long as you see no noticeable weight loss they are ok. what are you trying to feed them??

I wouldn't worry after only a week and a half.... but there's no harm in going back to basics and checking all the environmental conditions, temps, hides, photo-period etc.

Is this time of year any reason to fo off feed for a bit?? Curious, Reed, and Miriam are all off feed for the last couple of weeks. (Mordecai is still eating anything I put in front of him.)

My female parietalis is off feed again. She did start swallowing her fish, but spit it out. Didn't seem too enthusiastic last week either and neither have my vagrans twins these last four weeks or so, but at least they've been eating. Only the tetrataenia is still an unstoppable eating machine.

Mine were fed yesterday and monstered their way through their food ... infact 'J', who has been refusing to eat any more than 1 pinkie at each feed, surprised and pleased the Hell out of me by coming back for more - he stuffed himself with a pinky, a slice of trout and the flap of skin from the trout I'd used to placate their hunger ... don't worry ... If they're not hungry .... it usually is just that just keep extra aside just in case.
Keeping - 'Florida blue' sirtalis, concinnus, infernalis, parietalis, radix, marcianus and ocellatus.
