    Smile Hiiii I'm New Tooo!

Hi everyone! I'm kim, lovely to be able to join the forum, some beautiful pictures of everyones snakes on here and also some very helpful information. I was wondering if anyone knows where i can find either a San Fransisco Garter Snake or a Californian Red Sided Garter Snake somewhere preferably within North West England? I would very much love one of these beautiful creatures and i've spent weeks and weeks trawling the internet to find a place which sells them. I was also wondering what price range will i be looking at for them?...(i feel cheeky asking all these questions, sorry!) I've read somewhere that the San Francisco Garter Snake will feed on pinkies, is this true...im unsure on that?

Hi Kim, and welcome to the forum. Good to welcome a fellow Mancunian.
Both sub-species you name will be available locally this summer.
Yes San Frans (and most other Garters) will feed on pinkies, although it is wise to vary the diet with fish and earthworms.
