So how exactly does this icecube trick work? Do you rub the ice into the pile of the carpet, or just sit them there and wait a few minutes?
I have a zillion and one spots on my carpet that could use this.........

We did the rubbing thing... I say 'we' but actually I sat in my high-back leather swivel chair, watching the forum and drinking Australian Shiraz.... magical elves did all the work.
Not sure if it's worked satisfactorily yet... we left some ice sitting on it... but it's looking good so far.
