Love strategy like Warcraft 3/Starcraft and like the shooter Quake 3, really high pace. Makes all those new shooters seem to stand still

Starcraft and the first two Warcraft games were really good. Never played Warcraft 3. But I've always had a Quake allergy. Unreal was even worse. Way too mindless, especially as multiplayer games. The Duke 3D multiplayer games were really epic. Basically our games were about finding 1001 ways and places to set up laser mines and other booby traps.

The original AvP is one of my favorites. Played as the alien, of course. Or marine.

I always play Quake 3 multiplayer. You can chose bots against you, are just blow the others to pieces... Aahh fun, fun, fun.

I tried AvP and it was indeed fun to do, especially because all 3 species need different ways to play them. But when we play multiplayer (almost the only times that I still play), than almost nobody knew it and they (aliens/predetor) were not easy if you've never played with them... which make us take other shooters.

We have a GameCube, and the kids have Nintendo DS, and we use the PC for my son's Warcraft and Civilization IV. The kids along with my husband, play lots of Zelda, and they also are into Pokemon.
The most recent game they got is Harvest Moon 'Magical Melody', which is a disgustingly cute farming game that I've become hopelessly addicted to (now that's sad!!)
Other than that, I'm really not into playing many video games, but I do like to watch the rest of my gang play them!

SURPRISINGLY, I am a huge video game junky and have been since I was little.

I PLAY WORLD OF WARCRAFT AND I LOVE IT.

That's right, I said it... I love WoW!!! If anyone else plays, I have a 70 hunter, a 41 warlock and a 31 shaman on Malygos Alliance.

I also favor oblivion for Xbox 360, all of the halo titles, Socom 2 back in the day, Tomb raider series, kingdom hearts... etc!
