    Re: Terri's new snake

She is 1 year old this month oh she is so beautiful ... exactly what I wanted! I can't believe how calm she is ... I've only ever held the snakes which we have now and they're all squiggly (although Clint does seem to be calming slowly but surely) so for me it's amazing she hung around Greg's neck for ages last night while he was on the PC .... she didn't even move once. We kinda expected her to be a little stressed after her journey (she was sent up from England to Aberdeen then we collected her and brought her to Perth) but she didn't even flinch when we took her out of her bag in the shop and again at home she didn't seemed bothered by much! I think the cat is a little bit scared of her ... she won't get too close to the viv and acts very jumpy when she's sat infront of it ... very amusing!

    Re: Terri's new snake

Yes, there are quite a few nice rats, I would like to get a yellow rat as well, but want to hand pick one that is truly a nice clean yellow,as many are kind of muddy or grayish.
Maybe a nice black rat too.
I got my everglades from east bay vivarium. They breed them, and have pics of their breeder adults on their website- very beautiful. Bought an albino striped pacific gophersnake and my little checkered garter from them that same day.
I need to start handling my little everglades every week so she calms down before she gets real big- she tries to bite- alot.
