    Re: T. s. tetrataenia baby

In my case, the problem comes from the fact that I use a lightbulb for both lighting and heat, which means that the light is yellow, instead of natural white. The yellow is exaggerated in the photos, so I have to edit the images to make it look about the same as in real life. As a result, some of the colours get lost.

I used the flash in the first picture, but you can't really use it in close-ups.

I still don't like the colours. Not as much as most people on this forum, anyway.

Frankly, I just bought it because I had the opportunity. As far as I know, five people had garter snakes brought from Hamm in September and I know what happened to three of them (or four of the snakes). I guess the rest will turn up sooner or later.

Have to admit that it's also not number one in my list. It's not that I don't like them, I just like a lot of other, less intense colored but more with fine patterns in them more. I already have my concinnus and a bit the terrestris for the brightly, intensly colored snakes. Although everybody I know think it's the prettiest garter... including my girlfriend, so I might still get them one day

    She's a nice one, Stefan
