I tried out something for the pics. I put a sheet of toilet paper before the flash, to lessen it a bit ( not all pics though ). Some of the pics were to dark, but I liked the result overall .

I think it worked great, judging by the results. I've had problems with the flash, especially with macro shots, I have to try that trick myself.

I have tried this before, using fine white muslin. It does soften the flash.
