    Fighting like cat and dog?

This came up somewhere before and I have been intrigued for ages...

Reading through your posts, it seems that more reptile keepers prefer cats to dogs or at least are more likely to keep cats. Is that really the case or just coincidence?

So what is it for you.. CATS or DOGS?

    Definately cats for me!

    Cats for me, too.

Cats are usually more of a female thing, men usually prefer dogs. Which makes me even more odd.

i like both, but my boyfriend doesn't like dogs so i won't be getting one until we get a bigger house.
I think cats have more of a snakeish personality, dogs are like, 'i'm people just like you' whereas cats are more, 'i'm an independent predator. give me some respect suckah.'

Yeh cat person here too. For me it's all about personality. Dogs just seem to love everyone and are always excited about things and are always willing to please...to the point of it getting sickening. While cats I think are more genuine. When my cats play with me or give me attention, I know it's because they really want to and really care, because if they didn't....they just tell me to sod off. Makes them a lot less one dimensional then dogs I think.

Cats obviously....They are just... well....not as stupid as dogs!! (Dogs chase their tail thinking its some weird thing attached to their butt......cats know that their tail is their tail.....)
I do like dogs, but prefer cats....

Despite the reply from James, I am a dog lover myself. Cats are fine , I just don't prefer them.
