Re: Dog possibly bitten by snake??

Lori: So sorry to hear about Jewel. I know what you are going through, we lost out sweet little Springer Lucy to cancer this morning. The house sure is a lot emptier without them. Guess it is all part of the deal, we know that we will outlive them, and all we can do is give them a good life in return for the happiness that they give us. Our thoughts are with you.

Oh Terry... I am so sorry. Hugs to you and your family. Jewel and Lucy are probably looking down on us wondering what all the fuss is about... they are both healed, free, and happy. I hope they tumble around today and have a ball.

Now Stefan, let it be. If I don't believe they go to a better plane and that I will someday see all those lost, I will loose my mind for sure. And there's really not much left to loose.

Omg Michelle... you have NO idea how much that would mean to us... I would put it next to her urn.

One of the ladies on my horse group does the breyer models and she just blows my mind with her talent. Love to see yours too!!!!! Do you participate in the model shows?

Re: Dog possibly bitten by snake??

Sorry for your loss!!! It's hard losing a beloved pet like that.....at work when we pick up someone's pet that passed away, I have the shelter staff send a sympathy card and a copy of the Rainbow Bridge...very neat thing!!

    Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
