I've not been able to open her mouth
it just stresses her too much when I try to hold her head and I don't want to push it
I did take a much closer look at the area
the line is different from the one of yours - it dips down a bit instead of being straight
in the photo it looks like it's gaping a bit though, and that is not at all the case - it looks more like a slight overbite or receding chin
and everything looks clean and shiny on the outside
should I still look into the mouth?
I can do it if I have to

It was the fact that the mouth appeared slightly open that concerned me, Rhea. If this is not the case, and the mouth is tightly shut, don't worry as I was mistaken!

    thanks
    I was a little worried
but it does look like it's just her facial features
now I just hope she'll eat
tomorrow will be the first offering
they're supposed to be good eaters, right?

It's a bit of a generalisation, but yes, I've always found marcianus to be voracious eaters....... I use mine as dispoal units for all the other snakes' uneaten food!
