    Google is easy!
Type what you want to know, like your talking to a small child...Make things as complete, but as simple as possible...

Maybe, instead of typing Dictynidae, I should have typed in 'green spiders!!!

And a really useful feature is google's ability to search for specific phrases. Use plenty of keywords to narrow down the search and use - in front of a word to exclude it from the search.

Here's a real example of how to search for an unknown snake species :

"nosed snake" -snakeskin scales -Rhinocheilus -hog -shovel -patch -shield -heterodon -leaf -hook

Who wants to guess what I was looking for?

Sjoerd, in the UK we call this a House Spider Tegenaria domestica.

The spider in your picture looks more like Amourobius similis (or maybe A. fenestralis). Maybe that's what you call a House Spider in the Netherlands?

    Re: The Nature Photography Thread

My photo taking skills are pretty much non-existant, but there are a couple that came out right by accident.

    Lake Michigan

    Frog

Flock of Geese that landed on a pond nearby

Hope these aren't too large, I wasn't sure what a good size would be for here. A tripod makes a world of different doesn't it?
