    male/female?

    Hey guys.
    I keep forgetting about the number/sex-thing.
    if it says 1.0 is that male or female?

    it's something to use, if you already know the sex of your snakes
    like 1.3.4
    would mean 1 male, 3 females, and 4 unsexed
    i'ts an abbreviation of sorts

    Its a kind of declaration for any animals sex
    used also in sciencifical studies and zoos.
    When your collection becomes bigger its easier to say:
    "I´ve got 1,2 ´parietalis, 3,1,2 ´atratus...."
    If genus is clear you don´t need to name specy and subspecy,
    because subspecy names are unique and clear to all insiders

    I never knew that! Well I knew people use it to abreviate but I never knew which was male and which was female!
