Baby Garter Snake

I found a small Garter snake on my drive this afternoon he must have been run over he has about a half inch piece of meat hanging out of his body about half way down he is now in a small container on a towel and quiet right now not sure how to help him. Hes been in the container for about 3 hours hes still moving if promted but otherwise very still.

I hate to say it but the snake will probably die as there are more injuries not seen. Thanks for being concerned about the poor thing. I'd suggest dispatching the snake or releasing it back into nature where Mother Nature will do the deed. Once again, thanks for being concerned.
