Think so? I'm not so sure, I was thinking simply polymorphism, but then again, I don't know all the details. They just don't look "mutated" to me, if that makes any sense.

It just seems so normal to me. So the stripes aren't yellow or orange. Not much else is different. Just seems like it isn't much of a stretch to appear that way.

But is it white pigment, or a lack of pigment? That's what I meant when I said they don't look "mutated". I guess I can't really judge that from a picture. Your project idea sounds promising either way. Who knows what will pop up from that cross. Maybe something totally unique and never seen before. That would be awesome. Just when you think we've "used up" radixes to produce all the possible morphs...

This update isn't a good one. The 7 snakes started off well but never put on the size they should and over the last years snakes have died from unexplained reasons, those mystery deaths that happen. Out of the original 7 there is 1 living. This snake is the size of a 1 year old. I wish I had better news.
