An anery red side would basicly look like an average easter garter snake.

I posted a pic of one. They call it anery anyways... What would you call it? Because that looks nothing like an average eastern or any eastern I've ever seen.

There was one on Fauna classifieds that looked exactly like the one you linked to. It was a adult and was flawless. I almost pulled the trigger on it. The seller wanted 195.00. It really didn't fit into my plans at the time. It looked extra special though as does the one in the picture link. The seller also said the animal was from her personal collection...and she was a breeder.

Anything is possible but if you look closely at the tail the coloration or lack thereof it does appear more anerythrystic. Especially laterally.

Ive had many of them. Im very familiar with every garter snake that you can get your hands on, i think ive had them all. They are a black snake with black eyes and a black belly. I believe the correct term for a black snake is melanistic.
Whats the difference between a parietalis and sirtalis...the red right? You take away the red from a parietalis and you have a snake that looks like an eastern garter....am i wrong or right?

Well, when you take away just the red we know the polymorphic and polygenic capabilities in garters should be taken into consideration also Joe. I think there are and can be alot of factors at play in individual animals. You certainly could be right. However this is also a young animal in Zdravs link but trust me i have seen a anerythrystic parietalis that was a adult and looked very similar to phenotype of this one. I can't really say i have seen a melanistic parietalis before. Melanistic sirtalis, yes.

Okay. Hey, i can stand corrected. It won't be the first time. I ABSOLUTELY respect your opinions and views on genetics, species and classifications. I am just putting it out here as i interpreted it.
