Joe, Jeff is working with the goldens and he thinks that they (genetically) will be compatible with many other eastern morphs. He (Jeff) said he was going to be spending a lot of his time proving out the golden gene. I have not heard him refer specifically to a golden albino or golden red sided. But it must be on the road to proving out the gene.

Hey albert, this thread is about the golded redsided (parietalis) not to be confused with the golden eastern. It was black and gold without the red flecks.

your in left field albert. bring it back in man haha im sure jeff is going to breed the golden eastern (thamnophis sirtalis sirtalis) to a albino. that is why he is holding back so many to breed it to almost every morph. albinos are almost always the first morph to be bred to a new morph.

the golden red sided (thamnophis sirtalis parietalis) was in scotts collection and im not sure it was proved out or not but there are plenty of morphs to cross it to but the red sideds are scattered. i should have grabbed scotts whole collection knowing he was selling everything but money was tight at the time. even though i could have probaly borrowed it but i didnt think they would be sold off and not be bred. such a shame that he didnt give the breeders a heads up so this didnt happen and they could have had a shot at being in a breeders collection to be bred and continue the morphs production.

Well, thanks for the clarification. Didn't see the differentiation in the op. But I do see where you asked for clarification in your post. TY.
