What genes are you hoping to see expressed in a different way from existing morphs, and what would you want to breed this snake to to achieve that? Just asking if an animal can produce 'new' morphs doesn't really tell us anything specific...

Scott had a golden red sided garter that was black and gold and didn't have any red on it. I think they were born in a litter don produced from a wildcaught female. I don't think they were mass produced so probably didn't get line bred to alot of morphs. Give it a shot and see what happens!
