Yes live, the offspring would be triple het I believe bc they already are double het being granite pastels. So, depending on what a individual baby produced from a granite pastel x albino pairing would be 3 genes. The visual presentation of any given scrub would clue you in to what they really are but then it would have to be proved out through breeding. I think they would all be 66% het for albino until it was proved out. Remember albino is recessive. And the albino gene you are referring to is albino checkered only right? Because that is the genotype.

can it be pastel and granite at the same time? if so they would be 100% het for all 3. if you think of a pastel granite like a snow which is the mixture of anery and albino so it is both but not sure how the pastel gene works

I don't think we know if these are more than het pastel under the granite? I haven't figured out how pastel interacts with granite yet. I know what pastel looks like otherwise--super and het--because I have a het pastel and have googled the hell out of it.

But what does pastel do with granite? It doesn't seem to yellow them like straight pastel (het or super)--does it cause the reduced neck pattern? Or are we sure it's even there at all?

This is only my opinion, I am not a expert on genetics by any means and I can certainly be wrong.

I think Shawn referred to them as being either ganite pastels or super granites when the first clutch was introduced. And Jeff , I believe, was in agreement.
