I have been lurking for a while and decided to join the forum.....Last winter I had many young garters coming into my office from an older part of the basement....14..total....Thanks to this place and the info freely shared, I was able to keep them all alive and happy until spring. I have fallen in love with the species and still have 3 in my care. Two may not make it on their own and one has a very nice personality. All are under 11 inches as far as I can tell...they wriggle a lot in my hands! I have them together in a 32 x 12 x (18 tall) tank....The 4 foot garter paradise is under construction!....I must say that you guys have some BEAUTIFUL snakes!...Wow! Anyway...Thanks for letting me join!........................Merris........

Thanks for the warm welcome!...Pics will come ( I have to learn how to do it and fix this computer...I updated firefox and the font is HUGE)...I will keep you posted.....(grin)!
