Never heard of that, can you post a link to it? I'd be interested in reading it.

Thanks Steve! Lora, you may have to put Melissa Kaplan before putting in Emaciation. There are several prompts after that for her various topics. Or just try "Anapsid."

Thanks Dan, went to the vet with both albino checkereds and told the story and relayed my concerns. Vet says the male should be ok with the tail issue bc it is so close to the very tip but wanted him on a week of antibiotics. Mainly for the tail but also to speed along the lower jaw injuries since they went so long unattended. Both of them however should have no long term ill effects due to the nutritional deficiency. Feed them every two to three days she said and vary the diet, bc they are so small for their age they should have a aggressive feeding regimen for the next 6 months. Glad that's over!

Yeah, me too! Thanks Ashley. I really was concerned about the male bc I want to hold him and breed him back to his mom. I am glad that I don't have to worry that them not eating. These two eat every thing under the sun!

Thanks again Dan, the info I'm getting on the blues is they are difficult to breed in captivity. They need to remain in groups of a couple of males and several females. Most of what is on the market is wild caughts. Big project I guess. Idk. Hopefully the odds gods will be with me on this one. Fingers crossed.

Breaking News community! I broke down and ordered a pair of California red sideds from Jeff. Yes, I went all the way and sacrificed for the "gotta have it garter". I can't wait to receive these two! Thanks Jeff!
