Re: radix
Josh, Wow she is truly a beauty !!! I kept several flavors of Radix in the past and found them to be quite docile. My personal preferance is the ' normal ' variety of Radix. Yours do have a very nice, vivid stripe and all around clean looking color.
Best of Luck,

Re: radix
The vivid dorsal stripe on T. radix is one of the many features that makes this species my firm favourite.

not true
the ones I got from Scott (normals) are definitely not brown snakes with a stripe

Re: radix
okay
so the male isn't the most stunning radix ever, but for a baby I think his colouring is quite decent

Re: radix
Rhea the stripes are a VERY nice orange !!! The difference I see is that the ground color of the other Radix posted appear to be more of a green/gray color rather than chocolate like yours. Maybe the different cameras or perhaps the difference is the indoor/outdoor lighting ???
I just looked at Scott's site and the adult Radix sure are brown with a pale yellow stripe. Interesting how those throw the intense bright orange of the various flavors of Radix Albinos. Anyone know why that might be ???
Best Wishes,

Re: radix
Very nice looking snakes Rhea, yeh.....they pretty much look nothing like the ones he's got posted on his site. I have to say though, I do prefer the gray/green backround colour though of the female and babies that Josh got. I'm actualy trying to get a pair of the same babies as Josh, just waiting to hear back form Nick (aka Howler).
