    Snake I.D please.

Hello Garter snake people, been a long time since I have been around here, I really wanted (or want) a garter snake but I never got one because I'm not home enough to take care of it, so I am not here very much.

Anyway, I found this snake in my grandmas backyard and was wondering if you pro's could I.D it. It looked like a half garter and half gopher snake. It had a blue underside too, it was maybe 3ft long. All the snakes I have seen this year are really big. He was pretty aggressive too if that makes a difference.

    Thanks
    All the best

Thanks guys, reading that Wiki article it said the adults feed on rodents which make sense. He lives in my grandmas backyard and she has a ton of voles that also reside in the yard. Cool looking snake, hope to encounter him again this summer.
